Hope this so-called "easy group" doesn't come back to bite us in the arse. Remember Basel, people, remember Basel . . . Rafa hopefully remembers as his Valencia side who were in the same group walloped us kau kau . . .

There is no such thing as easy in CL!!! It's a lie i tell ya. 2 seasons ago, we won the group "easily" but then in the knock-out stage, got our arse kicked by one Portuguese team named Benfica, featuring one Simao Sibrosa that we tried to sign. He bit us back HARD!

I have not had a drink in 2 days. Was so tempted to break my fast today but decided to sweat it out for just one more night.

...& the end result of my sleep deprivation from watching the game is...blurry eyes, sore & aching muscles, total & utter frustration at the lack of effort, cohesion & professionalism. The display this morning was utterly horrendous. We were riding on some good ass fortune mistakenly bestowed upon us by some cock-eyed power that be. I thought I was watching Spurs. Porto played us off the park from the word go & were unlucky to get only a point instead of 3.
Pennant had it coming; Gerrard? He played-meh??; Reina-one of the best in the world? You must be joking; Babel looked like its his first game of footie; Hyppia - OAP only to be featured in FA Cup 3rd/4th rd or League Cup games against 2nd or 3rd Div teams... I could go on & on.
The only person who worked his butt off as usual was Kuyt but 1 man don't make a team. The heavens must have aligned just right in that 1 minute when he scored only for it to go out of sync again.
I'm an optimistic person & will always find some positive to take out of a game, lose or draw, but this one...eisss tak tau apa nak cakap.
I just hope I don't see another inept performance like that EVER again. >:(
We SUCKED! End of story. I'm still counting our lucky stars for the draw and point gained - Porto's attacks are equally shitty i might add. Against a better team, we would have lost the game by a HUGE scoreline. The entire team was sleeping, the WORST European game I've seen us play under Rafa.
