Now, wasn't that Benayoun goal a thing of beauty? A brilliant solo effort and that shot was just stinging.

Note: all El Nino's goals were accurate placing shots and show an Henry-esque similarity. Difference is he is still 23 years young and have all the time in the world to develop.

I didn't get to catch the whole match but only managed to catch the repeat of the 2nd half. That and the highlights here showed that El Nino was not accorded the protection due to him by the ref. He was kicked left right and centre by Bikey and Duberry. Both should have been sent off on account of tackles on Torres alone plus 1 penalty denied.

Best goal of the lot is Benayoun's wonder strike! Out of nothing, a mazy run and a cracker of a shot.

The thing that really ticked me off besides the rough-house tactics by Reading, is the match officials. Their first goal wasn't suppose to count. 4 of them are in an outside position and interfering with play and worst of the lot, Lita was standing in front of the Itandje and impeding him. Besides Torres, Crouchie also got his fair share of treatment dished out by them.

Why has refereeing standards dropped so low over the years? Don't understand it.

Maybe the FA needs to employ younger refs because the older ones seem to be blind or run so slow, they miss the action.
